Everyone has binged watched Law and Order Special Victims Unit. You know you love Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler. Lets be honest, you wish Stabler would arrest you a time or two.
Every show is awfully sad with endless stories of sex crimes in New York City. But for some reason you cannot look away. Its like seeing someone pulled over on the side of the road, you can’t NOT look. Like you can’t not watch SVU.
Olivia Benson is so kick ass.
Her eyeliner is always on point - side note.
I can recite the entire opening segment with the man in the deep voice saying In the Criminal Justice System…
I would do it in a interview if they would let me, they would have to hire me then.
There is something so compelling about show, I do not think it is Ice-T’s lisp, but it is something. There is a strong cast, and nothing like watching the bad guy go to jail or Benson and Stabler get a emotional heated confession out of a perp. (I only know what perp means from the show.)
Some days after watching the show I think I could skip law school and head straight to the court room. I would sometimes watch and try and guess the ending. Needless to say I won’t quit my day job.
I already picked out the line I would say if I were called to jury duty- “You can’t handle the truth!!” - A line from a “A Few Good Men” said by Jack Nicholson. My dad always says this line constantly and it always makes me chuckle. I may get thrown out but it would TOTALLY be worth it.
I always loved a strong female role in any show or film, the show would not be what it is without Benson or Stabler. I have always been drawn to cop shows. I like when there is a mystery that is crammed into a 30 minute show. Always at the end of the show when I find out who actually did it, I can’t help but shout “I knew it was him the whole time!” (Yeah Right)
I have not yet predicted the correct ending of the show yet, but stay tuned
